there I am again! ^^ yeah, I know, it's not a manga again but realpic, but I can't help myself ... the reason why I painted this is a very simple one: street painter in Geldern ^^ every year I take it there part ... and this time it had to be something deeper. first of all media: n heap of lead, A3 sheet, scanner (from my vadder, who can scan A3 xD), Adobe Photoshop cs (but 7 would have done too!) .. so ... and now the meaning (I have that now So thought, if you have a better one, send me xD): So the title is "A Star from Heaven" ... as you hopefully see, the mother holds out a fabric star or something else star-like to the child and the child wants it seize. in the background there should be a kind of window to the sky, so the star is to be understood symbolically. a kind of gesture. in the sky there are no stars but shadows and lights, because the mother has to show the baby the good and the bad at some point, but for the time being the lights are more interesting for the child, so it leaves the shadows behind. the mother is in the protective position so that nothing else can reach it. and the make-up is so smeared, because the mother doesn’t care about the superficial and only the child is important (could easily get it wrong, I know xD) by and large that’s it I think ... I’m sure I forgot something, but it doesn't matter now xD I hope you like it;) I would like to say hello to everyone who takes part in the street painting competition and everyone who likes the picture .. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------- EDIT: LOOK AT THE ORGINAL SIZE! --------------------------------------------- got 2nd place made the picture at the street painting competition ... first was fat management and - without shit - it was ugly ... if I had known that it was those who painted THE picture, I would certainly not have shaken hands with them on stage! xD ------------------------------------------------- -------
