After the sketch was done, the picture looked so empty and boring, so I looked for a suitable background.
Think he turned out pretty good ... at least in small format. * - *
The background is supposed to represent the paradise without people that Arlong has always dreamed of.
Hody shares his dream, that's why the two pose so enthusiastically. xD
The gray area is supposed to represent their home at the time, the fish people quarter.
